There was a guy who faked being crazy to get out of a prison sentence. The guy was put into a mental hospital because he faked it too well. The doctors said that they know he faked being crazy, but they kept him in there because he was a psychopath. They said that because he was well dressed and wouldn`t talk to the other inmates. He said he wanted to prove he wasn`t crazy by being well dressed and that the other inmates were serial killers. Only in a mental hospital, not wanting to talk to serial killers means you`re a psychopath. Jon goes to meet an actual psychopath to fit him in the `psychopath list`. The psychopath wouldn`t fit into all the boxes because it`s a person trying to be fit into a stereotypical box. Later, Jon found out that they eventually let the guy who faked crazy leave the hospital.

I think that it`s weird that the doctors thought because he didn`t want to talk to serial killers, he was a psychopath. Everyone fits into a few boxes on the psychopath list. This is a grey topic. It educates people, but at the same time, it isn`t talked about a lot. I feel like more people should know about this. I think they should`ve let the guy leave the mental hospital earlier. It makes me wonder how many other people may have been poorly sentenced. This is another one of my favourite Ted Talks. The way he talks about this is so interesting and I like the way he realises that the list doesn`t fit perfectly.
